Class I Slow moving current. Often refered to as a "float" trip.
Class II Slow moving current with small waves.
Class III Steady current with medium size waves. Technical maneuvering required.
Class IV Faster current, bigger waves, more technical, scouting sometimes necessary.
Class V Very fast current, large waves, very technical, scouting is necessary.
Class VI Virtually unrunnable.
