Breckenridge to Royal Gorge

Frisco to Royal Gorge
Time: 2 hours and 15 minutes
Take Hwy 9 south to Fairplay. Continue south on Hwy 9 to Hartsel. Continue South on Hwy 9 towards Canon City to the Hwy 9/US Hwy 50 junction. Turn left (east)on Hwy 50 and go about 1 mile to the turnoff for the Royal Gorge Bridge. Turn right on the road to the Royal Gorge Bridge and we are approximately ¼ mile down from Hwy 50 on the right.
Vail to Royal Gorge
Time: 3 1/4 - 3 1/2 hours
Avon, Beaver Creek to Royal Gorge
Time: 2 hours and 50 minutes
Take I-70 east to the Copper Mountain/Leadville/Hwy 91 exit. Take Hwy 91 south to Leadville (where Hwy 91 becomes Hwy 24 east). Take Hwy 24 east to Buena Vista. Just 2 miles south of Buena Vista, take a left onto Hwy 24 east/ 285 north and continue on 24 east to Hartsel. Turn right onto Hwy 9 south and go to Hwy 50. Turn left onto Hwy 50 (east) and go 1 mile to the turnoff for the Royal Gorge Bridge. Turn right and we are approximately ¼ mile down from Hwy 50 on the right.
Buena Vista to Royal Gorge
Time: 1½ hours
Take Hwy 24 east to Hartsel. Take Hwy 9 south towards Canon City. Continue on Hwy 9 south to Hwy 50 east. Turn left on Hwy. 50 east and go one mile to the Royal Gorge Bridge turnoff. Turn right and we are approximately ¼ mile down from Hwy 50 on the right.
Colorado Springs to Royal Gorge
Time: 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours
Take Hwy 115 south (Nevada Ave. exit 140 off of I-25) out of Colorado Springs. Turn right onto the US Hwy 50 west exit, which is also the Canon City exit. Continue on US Hwy 50 west and go 8 miles west of Canon City to the turnoff for the Royal Gorge Bridge. Turn left at the turnoff, and we are approximately ¼ mile down from Hwy 50 on the right.
Denver (& suburbs) to Royal Gorge
Time: 2 ¼ to 2 ¾ hours
Take I-25 south to Colorado Springs, then to Hwy 115 South (Nevada Ave. exit 140 off of I-25 ) out of Colorado Springs. Turn right onto the US Hwy 50 west exit, which is also the Canon City exit. Continue on US Hwy 50 west and go 8 miles west of Canon City to the turnoff for the Royal Gorge Bridge. Turn left at the turnoff and we are approximately ¼ mile down from Hwy 50 on the right.
